Frequently Asked Questions
Does the block calculator include waste?
Yes. The CMU tab adds 5% for waste automatically so you can order a realistic quantity.
How much mortar do I need for brick?
This tool uses a fast planning allowance. Final mortar volume depends on joint size, workmanship, and wall thickness.
Can I use the poured-wall tab for footings?
Yes. As long as you enter length, width, and height in feet, the volume math works for footings, stem walls, and grade beams.
